If you have a Hewlett Packard Thunderbolt Docking Station G2 and the USB and Ethernet ports do not work.
Then download and install the the “Thunderbolt Control Center” application. This application allows you to approve and manage Thunderbolt devices for Intel products that are using Windows 10 & Windows 11.

When a thunderbolt Docking Station is connected to a thunderbolt port it normally Plugs & Plays all available port.
On some laptops there is a bios setting that requires user approval prior to connection.
The installation of the Intel Thunderbolt Control Center permits the user to approve and manage Thunderbolt devices.
If the software is not installed a user has no way to approve its use and the docking station only partially works.
